old? caravelle wind up watch,..cool strange soundign french movement in it

estate snag,..when found was so filthy you couldnt flex the band,...full on gummed up looked like he was an auto mechanic,..brutaly scratched acrylic crystal and gummy as heck,..ultrasounded the band,..and scrubbed the case with a toothbrush and some warm water and after bout 45 min finaly got all the gunk out of the nooks n crannies,..polished the crystal with some toothpaste,..and taadaa! neat old retro piece cant get the back off,..cause the case is soo battered ,..but even after not all that carefull scrubbing and rinsing NO WATER GOT IN IT!!! ,..only paid like 3 bucks for it cause it looked like a lost cause but daaang it cleaned up sooo goood!! and no fog inside! would like to know the aprox date but since its sooo well sealed i dont wanna pop the back off ,..kinda hard to wind cause the stem is soo small,..think caravelle was a budget line from bulova but not sure face marked as french mvt.,.realy unusual sounding tick almost like a tiny ringing sound,..
