okay, I see it now, after you told me, lol. I old and blind, with a touch of "Not quite right". Cool looking clock. I sure sometime before the mid 1970's, later would have Japanese movement. Oops missed hitting the loves, I bad.Got it this time

other strange thing is,.the movement is in the correct position ,.there is a notch to line up the movement in the case so i know its in corectly,..with the pretty rockign escape wheel to the top where its the most visible and displays the best,.but the writign on the metal back/bell unit,.like a wesclocks baby ben? is sideways,.so looks like it was repurposed from a previous use,.

no worries its late and my cam is not the best,.cant buy a better one too addicted to snaggign cheap dang clocks!@

I buy "Cheap" clocks every chance I get, lol. If found at a sale, I'd wouldn't think anything about cameras, unless it was a Mickey Box camera, then I''d try to watch my moneies and buy the clocks and the camera, would be hard pressed to pass on either.

Oh forgot to add, looks like a 1960's Phinney-Walker style movement also
    8. shawnicus shawnicus, 11 years ago
i think it has to do with gettign older,..you get to feelign a kinship with old things that keep performing their function well,...i worry bout generations where every dang thing is soo disposable,..it sets a dangerous precedent,..if everything is made to throw away ,....where does that leave us?
    9. shawnicus shawnicus, 11 years ago

Can't see the movement, but look at the styling and back set up. hands and dial markers
