Trash? - Far From It!

It reads, basically, that this ring was remade by my dad, for mom..."dad" is my Granted Father, not my blood father (whom I also love). He took mom and my blood father's gold and diamond wedding ring, stole the diamonds, and had a special ring made for her out of them, as a surprise, but semi with her permission..you know us REAL men, we don't fully lie to our loved ones, we just hide the outcome of "what" is going on...mom both Cherished it, and Loved it!...but, we also have a farm that mom sometimes would help dad with.

On one of these helping sessions, mom had removed the ring and placed it in the glove box of dad's truck then forgotten where she had placed it.

Now by that time in his life, dad had begun to start fires, by accident, in machinery...several times.

Dad went into the back pasture, got out, began to work, and noticed an explosion and fire....the wiring on his truck had went haywire, and the truck literally burnt to a crisp right in front of his eyes........at least the combine only had minor damage when it fired up 3 months before...LOL...and the tractor was put out without too many issues with it in the months prior.

Mom and dad collected what was left, and dad later found her ring where she had placed it.

This is still special to mom, but she also knew how special it is to me. It connects all the years that she worked 3 jobs to get us kids more, and all the years she and dad protected all 5 of us...4 moms, 2 dads, and not one of us felt as if we were "steps".

A year ago she gave this to me as I held it and studied it. She and I had a big laugh with dad about all of the fires, and more.

I know it looks like trash to most, or at best salvage, but to this Family - it is filled of Memories and Value beyond any amount man could come up with.

When I pass, at 247 years of age, it will go to my heirs...the way both mom and dad would hope it to
