This is a lovely tray I found last week. The photo doesn't do it justice. The colours are much nicer. There is a 31 on the tray. I believe that this could be the number of the mold. I did a little bit of reading and found out that there are some forgeries around. I hope this one is authentic. It really looks old to me - but I have been wrong before.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks a lot, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris and tom1375:)
Your tray is the real thing. None of the modern forgeries can match the light feel of the old porcelain, or the soft yet detailed transfers.
Thanks a lot, rjkinkent. It looked real to me but I rather be careful.
I appreciate your help:)
Agree with rj. Once you have handled a real one, you will be able to tell them apart-- even those with no signature mark.

Thanks, scottvez. I was actually surprised how light the tray was. But not knowing anything about this kind of porcelain, I was thinking that this was a bad thing. How interesting this is.
Also many thanks to vetraio50:)
JayHow, I agree about the tip! I'll keep this in mind.
Thanks a lot, Manikin, vetraio50, and of course, JayHow:)
Another typical sign of RSP is seen through a "light test"-- hold it up to a light and you should be able to see your hand through the other side.

Thanks, Scott. I will try that tonight:)
By the way, I love to learn. Thanks a lot, again.
Glad to help out!

I have just posted a cake plate with the same rose transfer to show another way to verify that an unmarked piece is a genuine antique piece.
I forgot to say thanks to you, rjkinkent:)
