I bought this tray a few years ago because I needed a large tray for family gatherings. I thought that the pattern matched some china I have but on closer inspection, it was not quite the same. The colours are not as bright as my other pieces and the flowers look different. For that reason it has been sitting in the cupboard for some time. I took it out just in time for the Canadian Thanksgiving in two weeks from now. I figured if I put lots of good food on it, nobody will see or complain about the pattern not matching:)

The tray is in perfect condition. Nothing special, but practical to have around.

    Thanks for looking:)

You just made my day, JayHow! You are so right. Sometimes I am a bit too..., well I don't find the right words. A quick story: Many years ago (mid 1980's), when I came to Canada, I was completely broke because everything I ever possessed was pretty much lost due to the government of East Germany (long story - no time). After being in Canada for less than two years, we bought our first house and the furniture to go with it. For my dining room, I got a china set of about 100 pieces. At the time I paid more than $1000 for it; that was a lot of money then. Guess how many times I used! I would say two or three times because I am worried to damage a piece. By now this set is kind of vintage and in mint condition. I think I need to lighten up. Life is too short. Maybe I will use for Thanksgiving:)

Thanks, Moonstonelover21, for your understanding and JayHow for your "therapy" - I guess my family will appreciate it but I will be sitting there biting my nails and hoping that nothing happens. LOL
