Well by now you all know I am a sucker for old tools and industrial stuff. My shop now is equipped with a genuine B&D 5/8 drill and floor stand. Drill motor turns a slow 300 rpm, perfect for metal. This one is a keeper, and yes it will get used. Haven't determined age on it yet.

Nice setup. Checking the patent number shows the patent was granted 4/21/1936.

Those are great old drills, I have the 1/2" version of the drill & I'm the third generation to own & use it.
