Antique Secretary Desk/Hutch by Union Furniture Co. Rockford Illinois.

This Secretary Desk I picked up an estate sale and appears to be from the early 1900s from what I have found out. During the 1920s Union Furniture mfg cabnets etc and the eastern half of the factory was destroyed in a 1928 tornado when the rooftop water tower collapsed and killed workers. Originally a group of twenty-some workers broke away from the Forest City Furniture Co. in Illinois in 1875 to form the Rockford Union Furniture Co. This Secretary Desk is marked #579 on a label (pictured). Have no idea what it is worth but has Original Keys and looks to be a Flame Mahogany finish on it.
