    (212 items)

I picked this up at an auction a few months ago. It was in a tray of miscellaneous items not even mentioned in the lot.
It is shaped in the form of a cash register, the ends being made of cast iron and the center section is made of heavy steel mesh.
The coin slot is on the end.

Measures about 3-3/4 x 2-1/2 x 3-3/4 and has a slot in one side for the coins.

Interesting bank. What stopped the coins from falling out?

Looks really really cool but I am missing the bank part too.

      I added more info.
The coin slot is in one end, I'll post another photo.
The coins fall into the steel mesh which forms the front, top, back and bottom of the center section.

never seen a bank you couldn't put dimes and pennies and nickels they would fall out don't think it was a bank and the coin slot on banks are not that wide

Trust me, it is a bank.
The wire mesh forms a complete cage. The coins do not fall out although like most banks you can shake it until they do.

If you look at the last photo you can see I have some quarters in it.
