This silver thimble was used by my grandmother. It has a teeny tiny mark I cant decipher (you can barely see it in the second picture). But no matter. Its clearly art deco in style. My grandmother was born in 1912 and she served in a rich family until her marriage around 1937. So I like to think this was her farewell present from the family where she worked.

Nice thimble Art Deco. What a coincidence; your grandmother and my mother both born in 1912!!

Thanks freiheit, valentino, vetraio50, DrFluffy, Agram and Tom for loving my thimble.
Agram, so funny! So my dad was born in 1949. It would be to much a coincidence if you were born also in 1949.
