The base appears to be an oil lamp. It is really heavy.
The shade has a different image on each side.
Would this be considered an Aladdin lamp?
Not sure of the manufacturer.

I really love the Shade... certainly made in the shape of the Genie-coming-out type Aladdin Lamp but not a lamp made by the Aladdin Kerosene lamp & electric lamp company. Was probably always an electrical lamp! RER(BOB)
What you have is called a Harvard style student lamp. It was originally made to burn liquid fuel like kerosene. The shade is probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. or Atterbury & Co. The base is probably Plume & Atwood or Wild and Wessel. It was made some time in the late 1800's.
It appears to be missing some parts and has been electrified. Both can affect value, but you have a nice lamp. Search the internet for the companies I have mentioned and you will see several other examples.
