We are big Halloween folk. The whole family dresses up in a group costume, we decorate, hand out big candy bars and generally have a good old time with the holiday. I have never found vintage Halloween.
I did however, run into these 50s Christmas decorations at a complete digger sale. I had to fight off spiders for these treats, and frankly, really want to go back today for 1/2 price day.
These are all from Japan. The first angel set reminds me of Mani...
The second set of houses are pretty elaborate. The non-snowman house, I think you put in your own diorama as it has peep holes...
The third set are blow molds. I have never seen them before but they are very cool.

I know, couldn't wait. If you look at my history you will see I have tons. Off loaded the extras last weekend to great success. I wish I was cavalier enough to add those angels to wrapped packages, but I just couldn't do it.

oh my you are!! I did get one of them holmegard Christmas decanters , I found at goodwill a month ago for $2.99 , fully intact:)
Oh my! I think I've got a snowman just like the one in the first red house!!! :) I should pick up some vintage Xmas stuff from my mother's place ;) Rumors go that at Carlos's mother's place there are lots of decorations from the 50s... I really really want to rescue them!!!! :D
We had those angels on the tree growing up. What warm memories seeing those brought back.

I have to admit I am a little infatuated with vintage Christmas, especially Japan stuff. I have a. Ton and am always looking. I will buy a big grab bag of Christmas for one ornament!

Did you say you never found vintage Halloween items? They're all over the place around here, all year around! Some of the shops I go to have whole rooms of that.

Back at you Amber about having a great day. Recently I was lucky enough to receive all my mother in-laws christmas decoratins. They are so fragile. It took a bit to bring your site up today the same as (Lees) Moonstars site beats my why. Be safe.
