this old lamp is neat, I'm not sure of it's age, were these mass produced? it needs a little dusting but in nice condition, any ideas on it?

The Edward Miller Company was one of the most prolific makers of Brass Finger Lamps and Burners in the USA. I have catalogues from the company showing similar lamps sold in the 1920's. However, based on the shape of this brass finger lamp, with the air holes in the bottom, the flanged chimney/Burner assembly and the filler cap name etc... I would date this one as around the very late 1800's to early 1900's. They were relatively non-expensive so were sold commercially to businesses etc.. It's a very nice example; looks all original and in great condition, of their early Brass Finger Lamps. BOB
