This design is called Fleurette and is marked "Made in occupied Japan" which is the period after WWII - from 1945 to 1952 when Japan was occupied by the Allied Powers (led by the US), this is an interesting write up about why that particular mark was used.

Thank you kerry for the appreciation. LOL - I was sorely tempted but even with the few pieces I succumbed to, after I repacked them with lots of newspaper, they filled up a decent sized carton which I was wondering if would fit into the small overhead cabins of those small domestic planes!
