This sign is HUGE!! It's about 6 feet long and is in great condition. I saw it one day goin through a city in Vermont so I stopped in and ask him about it but he didn't know much on the piece. I bought it for $15 so I thought I did a good job. I don't think it's really an "antique" but maybe!??! I think early 90s but I'm not sure? But long story short.. I wa driving my convertible and that's how I had to bring it home haha try having one hand on the wheel and another on a 6ft sign goin 40mpg :)
The vision of driving down the road with this in the back seat and the future stories that can be told, far exceed any price. As you get older, it will have a time of relevance to something else, spark the memory and you'll tell the story to some younger family member as to the day I hauled this huge sign home in the car. Thus creating a new memory passed along.
Yea I had no other way of bringing it home haha I just thought hey that would look awesome with my collection the best part is it was about to rain haha

Well you won't believe this but I just sold my convertible so I could by a truck so I could buy bigger antiques and stuff haha

I bought this same sign about two weeks ago for $25 bucks, it was hanging on the side of this guys shed...Whats even stranger is I to had to also put the top down on my convertible to haul this home in December!! Did you ever find any info on the sign? What year or where these where usually displayed at originally?
It's from the 90s I believe but I'm guessing it was for outside a gas station or a beverage place. I've seen smaller identical ones outside beverage places around here. Is yours 6ft or around there ?
Yeah mine is 3 feet tall by 6 feet long. I did some research and its from 1991 when they first switched to this particular logo, I found two online for sale one through a collector who is selling the complete sign with the light.. I thought about just hanging mine on the wall and putting a florescent light behind it, more than likely thats the kind of bulb that was in it originally...I should have asked the guy I bought it off of if he new where it was hanging at originally.

Yes its in excellent shape, I just made an account here yesterday after finding your post online searching for info on this sign,let me go see if I can figure out how to post a pic here.
