This cap was given to me by Dave Kingman at the end of the 1979 season. The bat was given to me earlier in the season for returning a Grand Slam HR ball to him. I caught the ball at Wrigley Field, it was Kingmans 214th career Home Run.

Back when Sammy Sosa was in dutch for using a "corked "bat my wife and I were attending a street fair in Spokane Wa. There was a table piled with cubs hats ,(real regulation cubby hats )for two bucks each ! I bought two just because they fit nice . About an hour later a guy comes up to me and says "I like your hat , I love the indians and I was born in Cleveland ! Well I was born in Cleveland too but I sure wasn't going to tell this idiot that I was .
