I have fallen in love with the Kralik floriform vases, and have wanted one of my own for a quite while (I am a landscape architect, and flowers are really my thing!) I was very lucky to find this one - it is 7 3/4" long x 5 3/4" high, which is a bit longer than other floriforms I have seen. I haven't seen another Kralik floriform with the segmented-style stem in person, either, but a similar vase with this style of stem is shown in the Butler Bros. Catalogs, 1901-1941 from the West Virginia Museum of American Glass (last photo).

Thank you Slave-to-glass, vetraio50, inky, ozmarty and Justanovice! Vetraio50, I wish I could say I took the photos, but my camera and my photography skills aren't up to it - they are pictures from the seller. :)

Slave-to-glass, I have been looking for any Kralik floriform images I can find for my own study, and have never seen one with this stem, either. If you have seen any others, do you have any recollection as to what the flower looked like? I was just wondering...thanks!

No Michelleb007 this is the first one I've ever seen. I had seen the pics of course and wondered if one would show up. You're very lucky :)

Is this Vaseline?!? That is super bright green if not! Love it!

Shawn, it does glow like crazy under a black light; definitely uv-reactive. It even seems to glow a bit in the last evening light - quite a brilliant green color, isn't it? :) Thanks!

I can imagine under a UV light it glows like crazy, I love how interesting and the just, variety that Floriforms were produced in, it seems like each one is unique! :)

Shawn, I have been collecting a file of images of floriforms for about a year and a half now, and the range of forms and colors is truly amazing. I think the glass makers really really had fun with these! :)

Beautiful. It looks like a glowing flower found at the deep depths of the Pacific Ocean. :)

Thanks Alfie21 - I am glad you like it! It does look like it could be a sea creature of sorts! :)
