I purchased this brush pot from an Estate Sale and I absolutely fell in love with the piece. I have never seen one like this, the pictures do not do this piece justice. I'm trying to learn more about the age, artist and the value of the item. It is 12in. tall and 6 in. wide. The surface appears to be covered with a thin layer of dark lacquer which is etched out to create the silhouette of a peacock standing on a rock. If you have any information on this beauty please enlighten me.
