I was wondering if anyone had experience with class rings? Today I found this Jr. High School class ring from 1996. It was only a few dollars no big deal. It LOOKS like it is marked "REED STERLING". Assuming the person's name wasn't engraved on the inside, what are the chances this is:
1. Real Sterling Silver?
2. A real blue sapphire?
Thanks, for the help! I am not sure this is real sterling silver based on its look and smell, but I could be wrong.
