I went walking through this shop today and didn't see anything I was interested in walked back up to the front counter looked through some necklaces that was hanging there I seen this coin attached to a cheep fake gold necklace So I told them they can keep the chain I will take the coin I came home and looked it up And was stunned It put a much needed smile on my face It only took 20 quarters out of my pocket Any extra Info. would be grate full Thank you for letting me share
I will need to find someone that can tell me if its the real deal all I can do is test the gold content and that part tested a real Will up date what I find out .
Mais Oui! (YES) it is the real deal! The 20 Franc piece was made only in .900 Gold. This coin was minted in Paris and 12,000.000 were minted that year! Great Find!! BOB
