My most recent perfume bottle purchase. A very nice all original Devilbiss amber glass with etched flowers I believe the glass company is Hawkes. I love how the amber is light at the top and darkens at the bottom. Always grateful for added information. Thanks CW friends for all you know and do!
Thanks for the loves, DrFluffy, czechman, freiheit, SEAN68, charcoal, mikelv85, Slave-to-glass, and vetraio50.
Thank you LeahGoodwin... always love your input!
Thanks LeahGoodwin, and valentino97 for the loves.
Hi, smiata. Gorgeous bottle!
I just got one of these lovely bottles. Actually the glass was made by Steuben and the etching was done by Hawkes and the hardware by DeVilbiss!! Isn't that exciting. Three very well known companies in one bottle. 1925 DeVilbiss Catalog No. PA01.
Congratulations on a beautiful bottle. I love mine. :)
As per your research Parkerhouse, I have updated my caption for "our" lovely bottle. Thank you sooo much for the information. I love this bottle too!!
Hello, again, smiata.
Well, after posting my bottle on a FB page, I was informed by a well informed Steuben person this is NOT a Steuben bottle. I have questioned several IPBA members about the maker of the glass and no one seems to know who made the glass. I had gotten my previous information from another collector/seller who has since deleted Steuben from her listing. So, all that I do know is, the hardware is DeVilbiss and this bottle was in the DeVilbiss catalog.
Sorry I gave incorrect information, as that was what I had been told. It's still a beautiful bottle. :)
