I saw Manikins posting of her Kenmore washing machine and it made me think of the one I had stored in the attic. I bought this washing machine at a yard sale 15 years ago. The wringer and hand crank was wrapped in a newspaper from Astoria, OR dated 1949. It is made of stainless steel and still works today. The washing machine stands 16" tall and 14" wide. I believe the two side handles are made of bakelite.
