About 9" long, and quite light! Wonderful artwork...and VERY durable! Also...fearing it would tarnished easily, and beinga wedding present by the decedent of The Wool Rich clothing founder...I requested a jeweler Platinum coat it - and he accidentally silver plated it...so 'polishing I must' I thought...but it's not so bad. Then I began to get curious about it's origin...it's history, it's maker, what it is made of?! And, what a rabbit hole that was! I got close after two days...It's Russian...old...and even got close to the maker...however I never found anything like it online. So I thought it would be fun for the 'in crowd' herein to peruse it's beauty, and maybe I will be able to learn some things about it! It is the best cereal spoon, in History - I am certain of that! A digression, if I may? My camera Just went on the fritz after the J. Wiss & Sons corrugated cutter, and I'll get some better pics asap. Also, not understanding it's material..I'm categorizing it as a Sterling Flatware.

OH! Thank You!!! ...for the wonderful site and publications! I now have a wonderful way to learn about other's treasures. I wanted to re-state: it appears too light, to be silver or any Precious Metal...however, I'll weigh it if that will help ID some things about it.
