This Blown Glass Turquoise Blue MARTELE Vase has a clear layer of glass over the Iridescent/Opalescent Blue "Martele" Decor. The under-base has a smooth polished concave finish with the martele being on the outside rim but not all-over the under-base. It measures 6" by 3" (measured at base). I have observed that the Loetz MARTELE items have deep polished pontils and that the Kralik Martele pieces have the decor all-over the underbase. Is this the RINDSKOPF version or could it also be Kralik? If not, any suggestions on who could have made it? Thanks, for looking at it, RER(BOB)
I googled Rindskopf Martele and looked at the images and "Pow", one of the first photos appearing is my same vase......unfortunately, they call it a Bohemian Czech Art Glass Vase and the photo does not link it to an active page. Oh Well! Back to the Drawing Board...RER(BOB)
