I don't do much picking anymore, but while at the antique mall I'm in, I found this hard to find grader at a price I couldn't pass up.
Lincoln Toys road grader made of pressed steel. Measures 18-1/2 inches long.
Made by Kent Metal Industries, Tilbury Ontario Canada.
I'm thinking this is a 1960's version because it has the hollow type tires. There was an orange version made that had solid rubber tires and is actually easier to find than this green one.
SUCH FUN:)
I love toys!
Thanks for all the Loves!
Would loved to have had one of these as a kid!
Heck, I was happy to get it as old geezer, lol
I didn't even know these kinds of toys existed when I was a kid. I have more than made up for my deprived childhood.
I had a large Tonka dump truck & a smaller Tonka buggy/scraper & built lot's of "roads" with them, the Grader would have been a nice addition.
I'm glad you made up for my deprived childhood :-)
Time to call it quits for the night, it should have been YOUR not MY in the comment above.
Tom,
I've never seen the Green version... impressive you have it! James
Thank you jpzank, I ran across this one just making my rounds at the local antique mall.
