Hello...
I am hoping that someone may be able to help me identify my Crown Trifari rhinestone hummingbird brooch. The Crown Trifari mark is followed by the copyright "c" so I am assuming the brooch dates to the 1950's. The mark was struck somewhat "off" but I am still able to see the crown.
I have been searching and searching and I find many jelly belly bird brooches but none like mine. It's gorgeous but is it rare or scarce? Does anyone recognize this piece? I have even tried to reference it in my costume jewelry books and I am having great difficulty. The rhinestones are simply stunning and the color palette beautiful!
It measures approx. 2 1/4" top of wing to tail feather and 2 1/8" across widest point.
