Driving out in the country a few days ago I passed this sign at a gas station. The owner claims it has been at her family's store for atleast 80 years. It is in really bad condition.
Can someone tell me the correct time period it's from and what the letters are on the bottle. I can only make out MA
    Thanks

      Hey Juanita,
Thanks for posting a pic of a great old sign. I love it, with all of its old character.
I’ve been researching old Coca-Cola chest type vending machines and have some resources at my fingertips. I don’t claim to be an expert but I’ll offer my opinion.

The readable letters on the bottle represent ‘Trade Mark Registered’, which wasn’t used on bottles until the 50’s. Some letters were left out due to artistic license. The Coca-Cola logo ‘design’ was used after 1941.

My guess is the sign is about 60 years old, certainly not 80. I’d still love to own it.

      Have a good one.
