this is from the 1960's. My father was in the green berets and bought this overseas from either japan, thailand, cambodia, laos or vietnam... Stands 28" tall and is 38" wide from side to side on lower pieces. It has markings on each leaf to depict 1,2,3 i believe. It is one of the most beautiful tables i have seen and i have not seen another like it anywhere. I am trying to find out as much information as possible on it, if anyone knows anything about this type of table. Thank you!

      Dear Johannaihli,

I am curious....have you gotten any information on your table you posted photos of? I just found a table at an Estate Sale that I posted 3 pictures of (its under DianeBN). My table looks so much like yours. I'm wondering if they are made by the same person but when I looked at the underside of mine it does not have any the Japanese writing that yours has. I was told my table might be a Nakashima (he lived in America but is Japanese). Your table might be the same thing. You should check it out. I checked his furniture styles and still could not find anything that looked like my table or yours. Let me know what you found out if anything.
