    I would greatly appreciate any information on these ankle cuffs . The number stamped on them is 11955. The number is only visible when I open the hinge fully.

      If a cop puts these on you, you're going to jail. Ankle cuffs. Not to sound rude...cool piece. But I don't miss them enough to love them! =)

      USA made Bean Cobb Leg Irons introduced in 1899.

      These are GREAT! I agree with pw-collector, looks like Bean Cobb cuffs. Turn of the century for sure! Too bad you can't tie these to Houdini as he used these same cuffs in many of his Escapes. FANTASTIC find!!
