Had to go deep at 85% book value to acquire this old picnic cooler in original, excellent to near mint condition from an eBay bid auction. Measures roughly 12"x9"x12" and holds a 12 pack o' bottles.
The Acton manufactured Coke coolers are very collectible and this small one is a nice accent piece placed near the Vendo in the Coke Cave.
I do not know if the Junior size came with a sandwich tray.
Coolers in this condition are not easy to come by, because they are utilitarian in nature. Most have dents, scratches, and rust. Also, the handles are easily bent by the locking bar.

Thanks Michael as always for stopping by.
Sweet cooler Daddy_Nobucks!
Michael
One worthy of your collection, Mr. officialfuel! ;0)
One worthy of your collection too Dave!! This one os not that easy to find in this condition either.
Thanks Perry for the kind words. I appreciate it. This was sold to me by the original purchaser, who said "my husband hardly used it". I guess not!
Amazing shape I have one that is rougher. Book value are you reffering to the Jeff Martin book?
Very nice! And love the display Daddy_Nobucks
Thanks RAD. Petretti's 12 and earlycoke.com price guides are my "go-to". I am trending toward earlycoke.com because of image quality, ease of use (on-line), and value accuracy. I highly recommend subscribing to the earlycoke.com price guide. For casual to serious collectors, it will pay for itself quickly.
Thanks Aimathena, nice to year from you.
Very very nice Dave, worthy of more than two very's even!!
You've got a "primo" collection worthy of the highest praise my friend!!
Thanks Bernie! It ain't easy keeping up with likes of you!!!!
Great grab!! "old-school" bid win too makes it even sweeter !
Thank you Tommy. You know I love the BIN's. But every now and then a guy has to mix in an auction bid when the right piece pops up. Hey, hope it's going good in NY. Take it easy.
Very nice, I can't wait to get mine restored.
Yep, these are the littlest of the old coolers and probably the most popular (right up there with the Cav "airline" cooler). Be sure to post the restored piece, I'll be interested to see. Thanks Trey.
Will do sir.
I noticed mine is different saying in bottles on the bottom, how many variations on the JR cooler are there?
Hey Trey, Only the two that I'm aware.
Beautiful cooler! Acton did such a great job with their coolers. I have a regular sized one with the sandwich tray and original box.
