    Thie interesting thing about these shakers is that they are a true varigated blue glass. Varigated colored glass is typically in the pink color but I would say blue is very rare. The glass in a true blue, not just blue coloring applied to the surface of milk glass. Look close and you can see the variations in the blue coloring in the glass.

      Yes, there are exceptional, they came out of a very well known Krauss collection. He had one of the largest shaker collections in the world at one time. His estate of shakers were just sold this past summer

      I hear ya, but life goes on I guess and all this stuff moves on to other caretakers.
