LOUMANAL
(436 items)
A year ago when I started uploading some of my accumulated Art Glass items, I purposely set aside this Pompei/Vesuvius damaged-look Glass Vase because I thought it would not be old enough or impress anyone. Since then, I have grown to like it more and I now feel that it's time to give it it's (15 minutes of fame). The acid-etch mark underneath was apparently used on the early designed & made items by Michael Harris while he was in Malta. I may be completely wrong but someone here on CW might recognize the pattern. The outside layer is clear glass and the inside appears to be enameling with a mica incrusted mottled inner layer. It is a very weird and heavy 7 1/4" vase. I have photographed the mark as best I can but it actually looks like a lamp inside a teardrop. Any comments truly appreciated. RER(BOB)

Thank you Roycroftbooksfromme1 for the comments. I have tried to find this acid-etched mark on line to no avail so I really don't know where I got this information from at the time. BOB

How old is it?
Thank you smiata, justanovice and Vintagefran for the Love and Comments> I would guess it dates from the 1970's. BOB
