    These shakers were produced by the Helmschmied Manf. Company. The company operated from 1904 to 1907. Very few lines of shakers were produced. They are decorated opalware both on a smooth surface as well as a rough surface.
    The pair pictured above are the only two known in the shape, however I hesitste to say that bacause some others are bound to show up over time.
    They are shaped like little steins which to me is a very unusual shape for a art glass shaker of the period.
    Some quantity of these Bell Ware shakers were marked on the bottom.

      Are they milk glass? I think I have seen a similar pair on ebay.

      Yes, that is what they used for their shakers.
