Found these at an auction in WV and I am not sure of their origin or their original use. The definitely have that tribal look. They feel like wool, and are hand stitched on the sides. The backs are some kind of thick woven fabric. One of the short sides is open, creating a bag that looks like a rug. They are about 38" by 26"
