I am trying to see what kind of hair this is, how old it is nd if is worth anything. Can you help?

This is a bedroom chair that came from my wife's granny. We are not sure how long she owned it but we suspect that it was a wedding gift so it could be upwards of 100 years old. Thanks, D13

very possible it was made by the same company that made my chairs, ours are called plantation or barrel chairs, so that the ladies with large gowns could sit comfortably.
