Again, another vintage watch left for me. Is this band an original? Is it golf filled? What is the year? Unfortunately it does not run.

It looks original to the watch, But is hard to tell from photos. Read the markings on the back or inside cover. Those Numbers will help you identify its year, make & model. Kindof like a car. Its a Great passion...
Most of the time {the reason for these watches Not running} the main spring has been wound to its end, & the Winder keeps Winding. Look at the face of watch, turn toward you, then gently slowly, wind away from you. when it gets a bit of tension. Stop. If theres a watch repairman nearby, Go see him or her, They can be a bit gruff{ Busy} but they may be happy to give you some basics on care. Nows the time to get as many of those watches as you can, as they are inexspensive.....
The watch is very cool. The band I just love. Dang, those watch faces were teeny tiny back then!
