My parent's lived in Europe late 50's early 60's. They purchased a houseful of Danish teak furniture. I am trying to identify if this is a Hans Wegner. It was recovered in the early 70's. The original fabric was a light grey tweed. The headrest was charcoal black. Seat cushion original. I have two matching chairs. If not a Wegner any other ideas? Other tables etc have the France and Son emblem.
This is a genuine Wegner chair, in danish called Bamsestol (teddy chair). Look up bamsestol and you will find dozens of photos!!
regards Jesper (Denmark)
Thank you both for some wonderful news.
