Bought them on a flee market. They are 21" tall. They have bisque heads, hands and legs with painted shoes. One of them has sticker "Made in Taiwan " on her shoe. They are in clothes from 20s. Very beautiful.
Very nice contemporary dolls . Love their clothes but they were ,most likely sold as import dolls by any number of companies . Look at back of necks for any markings . The date from 1980's to present . When new were probably not cheap due to extra work on clothing. I will wait to see if you see any markings . Welcome to CW
Thank you for quick reply. Nope, unfortunately, no markings. You are right, the clothes are very detailed. They even have ruffles on.
They may have had hang tags . Many artist dolls are produced in Taiwan for cheaper labor and then their names are put on boxes and hang tags on wrists
