    Hello all. Does anyone have a idea. How this was used, any info would be helpfull . Stamped on the side says "prof. lancerfeld's sterilized milk and baby food warmer patd July 8 97 " I'm thinking 1897. It is appx 7 " tall & a opening of 2 & 1/4 " wide I think it sat on a pot , With boiling water?It is made of copper,Thank you in advance, NormAlexander
