English Deep Sea Model Buoy Float

I recently bought this buoy from the guy who was closing his junk store. I'm not into fishing stuff, but this caught my eye because I'd never seen one before and thought it was unique. I didn't know what it was, and the guy thought it must be some sort of float. After getting it home, I was able to make out enough of the embossed letters on it to get the rest of it. It says "Manufactured By Phillips Trawl Products, LTD. Grimsby, England." On the other side it says "Deep Sea Model, Guaranteed." From what I've been able to find, these are from the 40s/50s. Made out of some sort of pot metal or aluminum. Kind of an interesting conversation starter, I think.
