    This old advertising poster for Stegmaier 1857 is probably from the 1980s. Steg began its operation in 1857, and named this wonderful in honor of that beginning.

    This was a really great brew, but due partly to difficulty in producing a consistent product, Steg had removed it from its list of beers.
