My grandfather was quite the mechanic. He's the one who made the snowmobile in 1915 in a photo that I posted several years ago. When we were kids, he made an airplane ride. There were 4 airplanes that went around and every kid in the neighborhood showed up in my Grandpa's backyard waiting in line for a ride. The first photo is my brother in the airplane with my mom (c.1944) and the second photo is me in the same airplane (c. 1950). The next photo is me again (c.1949) in a stroller that he made. Next, me in Grandpa's sled. Finally, the last picture is me, my sister and brother in a little car that he made (c. 1953). The car ran very well and was also the hit of the neighborhood. What fond memories!

Thank you all for your comments and loves. Gar, if I only knew what happened to that car...... I love your previously posted car. I've haven't been on CW much lately and I miss it, especially looking at all of these wonderful old photos and hearing the great stories that folks have to tell!
