Hi Tom! I've cherry picked a few of the more interesting lids in my collection....the others are somewhere in a box in the garage and I'll have to dig them out someday. I have tried to collect those with Patent dates, names of Glass Companies that made them or unusual ones that you don't come across too often. Here are 7 of them....from the top left a "Crown Lid that was made by THE NORTH AMERICAN GLASS CO. of Montreal, (1883-1890) Originally called the Excelsior Glass Company. Top Right another Crown Lid by the HAMILTON GLASS CO. in Hamilton, Ontario, (1865-1895). Second row left a lid that has a CF in the center with TRADE MARK MASON'S Improved, Registered May 23, 1871. Middle VICTORY Lid Reg'd 1925 and to the right another HAMILTON GLASS Co. Hamilton, Ont (no crown logo). Bottom row from left has all these patent dates; Pat Feb. 12. 56, (1856), Dec. 17. 61, Nov. 4. 62, Dec 6. 64, Jun.9. 68, Sep. 1. 68, Sep 8. 68, Dec. 22. 68, Jan. 19. 69. The last one on the right is KANT KRACK Patd Feb. 23. 09.
