    the first two are interestingly textured which should really help prevent slipping on them. the 2nd pic is the back of that tile. The 3rd pic is of another tile - St Ghislain - Belgique. i'd love to find out more about all three of these tiles. i think that they are all from 1900-1910.

      thanks toracat and walksoftly. i think that the first tiles are Villeroy and Boch Metlach tiles from 1900-1910. i found some similar ones online which were pretty expensive.

      I found a pitcher with the same name on it, but they also had a coordinating piece with a different mark, which might help you get more info on the company. maybe it was bought over. Anyway, here's the link:

      there has been a faïenceries de Saint-Ghislain
      run by francois-alexandre dubois (1838-1920) and his son antoine dubois (1869-1949)
      but your tile is supposed to be by the factory shown underneath the article about the dubois
      not a lot of informations but some nice pictures can be found here:
