"Cupid and Puto at Play" is the name of this 8 inch vase. It is signed
"Geo Woodall" and "Gem Cameo", and carries the number "w3191" in the Thomas Webb and Sons' price book of the Woodall brothers pieces.
However, no production cost nor price for it was given in that book. Also, it is pictured on page 64 of Christopher Woodall Perry's book; THE CAMEO GLASS OF THOMAS AND GEORGE WOODALL.
It absolutely baffles me how these figures could be carved in glass by hand just with ingraver's tools. (1999)
