We purchased this at an estate sale. It was in a vase of "junk jewelry, that we bought for $6. We were curios of its contents. Got it home and have been doing some research on it. It has the "trifari" copyright stamp on the he clasp. It is missing two small stones, but would love to know some more information about it!
Very cute, not terribly old.
Nice and Trifari jewelry is collectible and well made . Very pretty . There are certain pieces more sought after than others , Like their signature crown I have one like that . Great find
Here is a good article on them , Newer ones just had hang tag not stamped .Does your's have a crown over T ?
Trifari Marks and Signatures
The Trifari Crown Symbol
Trifari used a Crown Symbol over the "T" as a type of logo. It appeared on boxes, tags, and cards and was stamped onto most of the pieces produced from the 1940's through the 1960's. Usually all pieces of a set included the crown, with the exception of necklaces with hook clasps - often there was only room for the name "Trifari" on the hook. When sellers identify a pieces a "Crown Trifari" it means the piece was stamped with this symbol (see photos of Trifari paper tag and stamped clasp below).
