I don't know hardly anything about it other than it's old, I'm not looking to sale nor am I wanting to know what it's worth, nor is this an ad of any sort...I'm just wanting to share the images of this awesome bottle I've had for years with everybody. If anybody has more info on this bottle as in the year it was made I'd like to talk about that, but I don't care if I don't know since I like it so much. I found it in an old barn/shed, when I was tearing the place down for a friend...I don't know the year or anything this is how I found it halve way buried in the dirt. I washed it up and it's in great condition, and it's just awesome in my opinion. If anybody knows, what year this is please let me know...and enjoy the pictures.
U G B ……………..United Glass Bottle Manufacturers, Inc. (large conglomerate of many glass factories in the United Kingdom). Mark dates from 1913 to about 1959 or 1968.
@walksoftly Really, that's pretty cool since I found it in Kansas...in a small 600 person town. I wonder when this bottle itself was made, or what was in it. There is one part of the bottle not rippled, for a label I'm guessing but I found it without any labeling.
Could be 50 or 100 years old, could have been an imported patent medicine.

If it was possibly a medicine why emboss it with poison? Also it's seems like it might've been a pesticide of some sort, but I'll likely never know...thanks for the info.
Nice find! Love it!
Some medications (like Iodine) were for external use only & if ingested they were poisonous.
A number of safe guards were used to protect people, there would have been the universal poison sign on the label. Many people couldn't read or couldn't read English so they used colour shape & embossing to warn people.

That makes sense, by the shape of the bottle I'd say you might be right on the money with it being iodine or something like that...and thanks Tom I love the little bottle you found as well.
Nice find! Love it!
