    I don't know anything about duck decoys! My last name is duck but it makes me no expert! This is bound by reed and is only held together by an old rusty wire but is very sturdy It's like someone took a bundle of reed and carved the duck body then secured with wire and the wrapped the lighter colored reed around it. You can push the back and it comes out the front. Appears to be homemade and very old

      Hi, Tammie. I had one of these that was a chicken. I got it new in the mid-80s. I think I got it at Pier 1 or some place like that. It is a decorative item, not a decoy.
      BTW, I have that same lap tray now that your duck is setting on. :) I miss my little chicken. Happy hunting. :)
