I've never seen that revised shape of the Limpet tea pot in pink tint before, only Cob Lustre (ivory body with yellow detail glaze).

By 1986 Cob Lustre was all you could buy most Belleek in, though catalogs from just a few years before showed the Neptune set, for instance, in either green tint and gilt or in pink tint and gilt as options at extra cost.

I do have a 6th mark Neptune tea pot like this in pink tint without gilt, and another two full 6th mark sets in pink tint and gilt, which is a more pale pink than the versions Belleek's done a couple time since 2000 (including a really hideous version they did for QVC's St. Patrick's Day show in 2017 where QVC probably asked them to make the periwinkle shell finial handle on the lid much larger than it normally is, and it looks awful).

Maybe they had to do SOMETHING to change it in some way since in 2004 they said it was the last time they would ever make Neptune and it was officially retired.

Anyway, good to see that piece. You can literally learn something new about Belleek every day, it seems.
