i bought this off a lady few years ago and really like it.. according to her it was handed down from generations saying her great grandmother recieved it around 1910 but dont know from where.. her grandmother was missisippi cherokee .. i love the piece... its sterling and i believe the figures are turquoise.. i have never been able to find any info on it but did a test and it is sterling... and i have never seen anything like it nor has any specialist on native jewelery seen anything like it... least thats what they tell me.. i just wanted to share.. :)

Thank you Valentino.. the lady did mention a few of the fetishes may have been replaced at one time.. maybe that would explain the different shades of color? its heavy.. i do wear it but my wife bought me a heavy sterling chain i love too so cant wear this one often as she paid alot for mine and wouldnt want her to think i dont like it... but i feel good wearing this native one..?.. relaxed.?.. weired but feel good just holding it...
would this have been worn by women or men?..lol doesnt matter i like it..lol.
