Syracuse China--Help with Story and Value??

My Mother gave me this dinnerware set which she thought came from the Wisconsin Gas Company. They are from Sryacuse China Company and have the 'Gas Flame' blue logo on the front . It is set of 8 with gravy bowl and dessert dishes, coffee cups, etc...It is hard to see on the pics but the border actually has a small silver outside border, the black, then a 1/4 inch silver border again. Can anyone help us with some info on these dishes. There is a small chip on one or two dishes but in relatively good shape. Thank you!!!
